Carestream Dental are working alongside the Dental Software Suppliers Association (DSSA) and many regulatory / industry bodies, including the Business Services Authority, NHS X and the Chief Dental Office, regarding the implementation of SNOMED.

The go live date remains today, 31^st August 2021.  We can confirm that the ability to input SNOMED codes against treatment codes has been live OrthoTrac v15.1.4 released May 2021.

To date, we have not received a set of SNOMED codes that have been signed off to be incorporated into Orthotrac, neither have we been given guidance on how these codes will work for our customers; how should the data be recorded.

We are continuing to work with the Dental Software Suppliers Association to ensure that we are prepared and ready to implement the correct requirement once agreed.  Please be assured that as a supported customer you will remain compliant with all requirements.
